WATCH: Cristina Kenz, international chief growth and sustainability officer at the Kraft Heinz Company, discusses the potential for farming to become a major force for good in the climate fight

Global agricultural production has a sizeable impact on the climate, nature and resources, yet there is now increasing understanding and interest in shifting towards more sustainable and regenerative farming practices in order to, ultimately, turn the sector into a force for food in achieving net zero avoiding environmental catastrophe.

At BusinessGreen's recent Net Zero Festival 2023, Cristina Kenz, international chief growth and sustainability officer at the Kraft Heinz Company, offered her thoughts on how farming practices and technology can reduce greenhouse gas emissions, preserve natural resources, and enhance the resilience of food systems in the face of climate change and biodiversity loss.

Drawing on examples from around the world, her speech and presentation - which touched on what regenerative agriculture, precision farming, and other sustainable practices can offer a pathway to a more sustainable future - can be watched back in full below.
