Final Leaders Briefing of the year to take place on Tuesday 26th November

BusinessGreen has this week confirmed the date for its final Leaders Briefing of the year, which will take place at Church House in Westminster on the morning of Tuesday 26th November.

The latest Leaders Briefing will explore the transition towards net zero supply chains and land use, completing a series that has also taken in the journey towards net zero energy, transport, and buildings and infrastructure.

The event is free to attend for all BusinessGreen Members, while tickets are currently available at a super early bird rate for all non-members.

The half day briefing will bring together key stakeholder from across the green economy to explore the challenges and opportunities presented by the transition towards net zero emission supply chains. As such it will feature a series of expert speakers and case studies that will discuss the technologies, techniques, and policy debates that are shaping emissions reductions efforts across supply chains, including work to tackle deforestation, minimise reputational risks, curb agricultural emissions, and reduce manufacturing and resource impacts.

Confirmed speakers include Landsec's Caroline Hill, Euan Murray from The Sustainability Consortium, and Clare Shakya at the International Institute for Environment and Development. Further speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

"Our series of Leaders Briefing has provided a fantastic forum to discuss the challenges and opportunities presented by the net zero transition, and our final event of the year is likely to be no exception," said BusinessGreen editor-in-chief James Murray. "The event will provide some invaluable insights on the too easily ignored implications that the transition to a net zero economy will have for supply chain management, risk management, and global land use."

The briefing completes a busy calendar of Autumn events for BusinessGreen, including next week's BusinessGreen Leaders Summit and the inaugural BusinessGreen Technology Festival and Awards on December 5th.
