Aeristech is a technology developer specialising in electric air compressors for the international automotive industry but has used its technology in other sectors. Its designs of company systems uses ultra high-speed motors and compressors such as electric motors, generators and control systems and compressors.

The company's patent protected variable speed motors use rare earth magnets and high-speed low-cost switching devices, giving them the power and speed to be more efficient and cost-effective than any other similar products.

Aeristech has developed a range of motors of different powers and voltages to cater for a host of applications that will capitalise on the technology. This includes automotive supercharging, sole boost charging, fuel cell air charging, which have already been commercialised.

Applications for electric vehicle main and auxiliary drives, industrial compressors and aerospace are currently being developed.

Aeristech signed its first million-pound contract in August and negotiations are at an advanced stage for others.

The company expects its portfolio of sales and licence to increase substantially over the next two years and will consider an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the stock exchange within the next three to five years.
