Company Name: Kelda Technology

Headquarters: Southampton

Website: www.keldatechnology.com

Headcount: 12 people

Profile: Kelda Technology has created the world's most efficient shower system, designed and manufactured in the UK.

The company's mission is to transform the way we use water. Using British-made innovation, Kelda Technology is disrupting stagnant thinking and changing the global mindset on water management.

Kelda Technology aims to revolutionise methods of delivering water while taking care of the planet. Over a quarter of the world's population is already facing water shortages and drought. Kelda is responding to urgent challenges by applying cutting edge science and engineering expertise to developing clean sustainable technologies.

The next generation of Kelda Technology shower systems feature a smart control hub incorporating digital microprocessor and fans that controls and propels the optimum flow of water and air to its patented E3 shower head. Within the innovative shower head, water is injected into the air and accelerated out of one of five jet-type nozzles.

Kelda's technology halves water use and heating whilst creating a spray force with perfect droplet size nearly two and a half times the power of a traditional shower, and this for any given flow rate.
