Minibems offers a Heat Network Management Service, enabled through the combination of an in-house developed hardware and software solution that merges heating control logic knowledge with embedded firmware capability.
The aim is provide users with a seamless customer proposition, which includes three main benefits:
Heating and hot water optimisation
Sophisticated software and control algorithms aim to optimise heat transfer rates within communally heated properties. The software driven demand-side controls significantly reduce the amount of heat going into properties, resulting in fuel cost reductions of 25-40 per cent.
Optimised service delivery
A remote management and bureau service enables failure prediction, data-driven decision making, remote problem solving and informed customer service through a transparent open protocol, leading to savings on call outs and reduced network running costs.
Minibens' bureau service, which is already supporting over 500 remote properties, aims to replace the usual instant dispatch requirement of a service engineer. The company says its data indicates that nine out of 10 calls no longer require a service engineer visit.
Increased revenue
The system provides much greater non-payment enforceability with more shut off modes for different resident profiles. It also delivers increased visibility over all components, data-driven performance certainty, and overall improvements in customer service and revenues.
