In response to popular demand, companies, entrepreneurs and innovators have one extra week to submit their entries for the inaugural BusinessGreen Technology Awards

BusinessGreen has today extended the deadline for entries to its inaugural BusinessGreen Technology Awards, giving businesses, entrepreneurs, inventors, and R&D programmes one extra week to submit their entries.

In response to popular demand, the final deadline for entries will be extended to 5pm on October 9th. Clean tech firms with a presence in the UK are invited to submit their entries for the awards in either text, video or infographic format.

"A large number of prospective entrants asked for a few extra days to finalise their entries, and so, in the interests of fairness, we are extending the deadline for everyone," said BusinessGreen editor James Murray. "There is still time for the UK's leading clean tech developers to join this celebration of the best of British green technology."

The BusinessGreen Technology Awards are free to enter, but short-listed firms are required to purchase at least two tickets to the inaugural BusinessGreen Technology Awards lunch. As well as entry to the awards, the ticket package includes a certificate for all shortlisted entries and the right to use the BusinessGreen Technology Awards logo in marketing material. In addition, each of the winners will be profiled on BusinessGreen.

BusinessGreen is today also announcing that the glittering awards lunch on the afternoon of Friday November 27th will take place at Snap Studios in East London, just a short walk from the UK's Silicon Roundabout tech hub.

All the details on how to enter are available on the BusinessGreen Technology Awards website.
