Free webinar, hosted in association with Tetra Pak, to take place on Wednesday September 5 at 3pm

BusinessGreen is to host an exclusive webinar next month providing a unique insight into how businesses can better integrate the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their corporate strategy.

Delivered in association with Tetra Pak, this free to attend webinar will provide BusinessGreen readers with an opportunity to learn about how the SDGs can provide an invaluable framework for how businesses can tackle the inter-related environmental and social risks and opportunities they face.

Through a series of expert presentations and an interactive Q&A session, the webinar will explore how leading businesses are starting to integrate the SDGs into their corporate strategy and report on progress against the UN's 17 overarching development goals.

"The SDGs are gaining ever more traction amongst corporates and investors, and are providing businesses with a useful framework for driving forward their wider environmental programmes," explained BusinessGreen editor-in-chief James Muray. "This exclusive interactive webinar will provide an invaluable insight into how leading businesses can respond to the targets set out under the SDGs, map against the SDGs, integrate relevant SDGs into corporate strategies, measure their impact on SDGs, maximise the benefits from a sustainable business approach, and utilise the SDGs as a framework for more effective and transparent corporate reporting."

The webinar is free to attend and will take place on Wednesday September 5 at 3pm. You can register for the event here.

The session will feature expert presentations on the latest corporate thinking on the SDGs from Mario Abreu, vice president for sustainability at Tetra Pak; Aris Vrettos, director of open programmes and international markets at Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL); Sam Kimmins, head of RE100 at The Climate Group; and Laurène Aubert, senior associate for global partnerships for Scale Up Nutrition Business Network at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN).

The webinar comes ahead of the upcoming launch in September of BusinessGreen's new Sustainable Development Goals content hub, which will provide a raft of articles and resources on every aspect of the SDGs and how the risks and opportunities they present to the global business community.
