There is just a day left to be in the running for the ninth annual BusinessGreen Leaders Awards

Pioneering businesses and individuals from across the UK's green economy have just one day left to submit their entries for the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards and be in with a chance of winning one of the country's most prestigious and coveted sustainable business awards.

The deadline for entries for this year's awards is 5pm on Friday 15th March.

Now in their ninth year, this year's awards will take place on the evening of Wednesday June 26th at The Brewery venue in central London.

The aim of the gala dinner and awards ceremony is to shine a spotlight on the very best of the era-defining green economic transition and raise the profile of those businesses, projects, and individuals who embody the ambition required to drive the next phase of sustainble economic development.

The BusinessGreen Leaders Awards are free to enter to any business or organisation with a presence in the UK.

However, in order to invest in hosting the awards the entry terms and conditions require all shortlisted firms to commit to attending the event. Entrants are advised to check they have the time and budget to attend the awards evening on June 26 before completing their submission.

Last year's awards saw around 600 senior executives from across the green economy come together to celebrate the sector's many achievements and hear keynote speeches from Energy and Clean Growth Minister Claire Perry and chair of the Environmental Audit Committee Mary Creagh.

This year's BusinessGreen Leaders Awards offers businesses, projects, and individuals the chance to enter a wide range of categories, including Renewable Energy Project of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Leader of the Year, and Company of the Year, as well as new categories such as Environmental, Social, and Governance Investor of the Year, and Waste-Tackling Project of the Year.

Entries will be considered by our independent panel of expert judges, which features high profile figures and experts from across the green economy.

There are also just a few days left to secure one of the last few remaining places at BusinessGreen's Towards Net Zero Transport Leaders Briefing, which will take place on the morning of March 19th at Prince Phillip House in Westminster.

The session will see keynote speeches from Nigel Topping of the We Mean Business coalition and Chris Stark of the Committee on Climate Change, as well as a series of case studies and panel discussions on how businesses are navigating the path towards net zero emission transport technologies.
