Exergyn has developed an engine that runs on hot water (80C-120C). Technically, it converts low-grade waste heat (LGWH) to power - electrical or mechanical.
It is a solid-state reciprocating engine, employing nitinol (which expands & contracts at different temperatures). Crucially, we are focused on being the first commercial solution to the low-grade waste heat problem.
Analysis shows continued global delivery on cutting fossil fuel finance from 40 counties and regions signed up to the CETP, but warns only 42 per cent of this is redirected to clean energy
