The UK's leading clean tech companies, investors, and entrepreneurs have just one day left to submit their entries for the BusinessGreen Technology Awards 2017.

The final deadline for entries is 5pm on Friday October 13th, after the original deadline was extended by one week in response to popular demand.

The shortlist for the awards is now set to be announced in mid-October.

The awards ceremony and lunch will take place from midday on Friday December 1st at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in Central London. It will bring together leading clean tech firms, start-ups, investors, and entrepreneurs to celebrate the exciting progress made by the sector in the past year and highlight some of the most inspiring technologies being developed and deployed in the UK today.

The awards ceremony will be presented by actor and broadcaster Robert Llewellyn. The star of Red Dwarf and Scrapheap Challenge, Llewellyn is one of the UK's leading clean tech advocates and an entrepreneur and investor himself.

During the awards ceremony shortlisted companies and organisations will be able to enjoy a three course meal, drinks reception, and exceptional networking opportunities.

Hosted in association with category sponsor Withers and Rogers and Clean+Cool, the awards are free to enter and are open to any company, research body, investor, entrepreneur or innovator with a presence in the UK.

However, before submitting an entry organisations should check they are able to attend the awards lunch and ceremony on December 1st and read the full terms and conditions.

Clean tech firms entering the awards are also invited to join BusinessGreen at our 10th anniversary summit on November 9th, which will bring together thought leaders from across the green economy to discuss the challenges and opportunities the sector faces over the next decade.
