UK Green Business Awards: Deadline for entries this Friday

You have until midnight on Friday March 1st to submit your entries for the UK's most prestigious green business awards

There are just a few days left to submit entries for the UK Green Business Awards 2024 with the deadline for entries for this year's awards set for midnight on Friday March 1st.

The UK's most prestigious green business awards will take place on the evening of Wednesday June 12th at The Brewery in central London. Businesses, sustainability executives, entrepreneurs, and investors are invited to submit their entries ahead of this week's deadline and join BusinessGreen in showcasing the very best of the UK's burgeoning green economy.

Now in their second year, the UK Green Business Awards are a successor to the BusinessGreen Leaders Awards, which ran for over a decade and celebrated thousands of trail-blazing businesses and leaders that helped establish the net zero economy as one of the UK's premier economic success stories.

The awards were revamped last year as the UK Green Business Awards, positioning the event to better reflect the growing breadth, reach, and influence of a green economy that is now firmly embedded in the mainstream.

"The UK Green Business Awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the very best of the green economy and showcase its huge importance in what is a critical election year," said BusinessGreen editor-in-chief James Murray. "They also offer a unique opportunity for the country's most successful green business leaders to come together and demonstrate how green business innovations are helping to make the UK more competitive."

A wide range of categories cover the full breadth of a green economy that is more critical than ever to the UK's competitiveness, rewarding the most inspiring renewables, energy efficiency, and circular economy projects of the year, as well as the most exciting marketing campaigns, small businesses, and innovations.

This year will also feature a range of new categories for the fast-expanding green hospitality sector, cutting edge green IT projects, green transport pioneers, and low carbon heavy industry projects.

And this month BusinessGreen published a new guide providing 10 top tips on how to produce a compelling entry that can catch the eye of our panel of expert judges.

The awards are free to enter and the shortlist will be announced next month.

All finalists entries will be invited to join us for a glittering awards ceremony on the evening of Wednesday 12 June, featuring keynote speeches from leading politicians, musical entertainment, and a gala three course dinner, as well as the chance to network with 600 of the best and brightest from across the UK's green economy.
