Tom Thorp is a chartered accountant and graduate of Edinburgh University. Tom spent several years with KPMG within Transaction Services in London and Munich advising on a wide range of industries and performing financial and vendor due diligence prior to joining Foresight.

While at Foresight, Tom has worked across both the Environmental Infrastructure investments and more recently the Private Equity investments at Foresight.

Tom is responsible for a range of portfolio companies including TFC Europe (a distributor of fasteners, clips and springs), Industrial Engineering Plastics (a fabricator and distributor of plastic venting and piping throughout the UK), AppInstitute (a software as a service app builder for SMEs), Specac (a developer of scientific instrumentation accessories for infrared sampling of liquids, solids and gases), The Bunker (a managed and colocation services from to ultra secure data centres) and AccessoryBits (an office furniture accessory distributor).
